Mahanoy City Elks #695 Presents $1,000 to Veterans' Services

The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge continues its longstanding commitment to serving those who have served our nation. During the Lodge’s recent Flag Day Ceremony, members proudly presented a $1,000 donation to Victoria Spitler, Senior Case Manager for the Veterans Multi-Service Center, to help provide comfort items for local veterans.

This meaningful contribution was made possible through a grant from the Elks National Foundation, whose mission is to support veterans, youth, and communities across the country. The funding will assist the Veterans Multi-Service Center in supplying essential comfort items that enhance the well-being and quality of life of veterans who rely on its services.

The presentation highlighted the values that define both the Elks organization and the Mahanoy City Lodge—patriotism, service, and compassion. Flag Day provided a fitting backdrop for recognizing the sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans while demonstrating the community’s ongoing dedication to their care and support.

The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge is honored to partner with organizations that make a difference in the lives of veterans. Through programs like this, the Lodge continues to strengthen its commitment to giving back and ensuring that those who served our country receive the respect, assistance, and appreciation they deserve.
