Fairless Hills #2023 Honors Vets and Presents Hometown Hero Flag

Memorial Day provides an opportunity for communities to come together in remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. This year’s Morrisville Memorial Day Parade was especially meaningful as we honored the life, service, and legacy of Lance Corporal Thomas H. Baddeley III, USMC.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Baddeley Family and Friends for joining us during this special occasion. It was a privilege to pay tribute not only to all fallen heroes but also to celebrate the life of Tom, whose dedication and sacrifice continue to inspire those who knew him and the community he proudly served.

Our Exalted Ruler, Joseph Krut, had the distinct honor of serving as Grand Marshal for the parade. During the ceremony, he presented the 2026 Hometown Hero Flag, which will proudly fly in Patriot’s Park near Historic Summerseat as a lasting tribute to Tom’s memory. In recognition of his service and sacrifice, Tom’s wife, Jeanette, was also presented with a Medal of Valor from the Elks and a commemorative American flag from Congressman Fitzpatrick’s office.

We would like to thank Morrisville Borough and Historic Summerseat of Bucks County for their hospitality and for inviting our Lodge and community to participate in this important event.

Special appreciation goes to Wendy and Mike for beautifully decorating our parade float, as well as to all our dedicated Lodge members whose planning, support, and attendance helped make the day a memorable and meaningful tribute.
