Northeast Central Regional “Hoop Shoot” Contest

Friday, March 17

6:00 - 8:00 pm Registration and Pizza Party – Contestants and families need to pick up your mileage checks, meal tickets, warm-ups, gifts and have some pizza. Additional Breakfast and Awards Luncheon tickets can also be picked up during this time. Late arrivals can be handled Saturday morning before breakfast.

Saturday, March 18

7:45 am Breakfast of Champions – The contestants will sit up front at their reserved tables.  Everyone is welcome to attend, but you must have your ticket.

9:15 am Exit for the Gym – Parents will be transporting contestants to and from the gym, no buses. Must be at the gym by 9:30.

9:30 am Pictures and Practice/Warm-up Time

10:15 am Opening Ceremonies – Parade of Champions, introduction of our special guests and the playing of our National Anthem.

10:30 am Regional “Hoop Shoot” Contest – The 8-9 age groups will shoot first, followed by the 10-11’s and finally the 12-13’s. First, second and third place medallions will be awarded after each contest. There will be a fifteen-minute intermission between each group. Following each contest, the 1stplace winners and their parents will meet with the Regional Director to review the information for the National Finals weekend. Additional photos of all six Regional Champions following the last contest.

1:30 pm Awards Banquet Luncheon – Everyone is welcome to attend, but you must have your ticket. All our Regional finalists will be recognized and presented with their trophies. The Team Trophy will also be announced.
